Halfsauced Barbeque, Osage Beach

I love this place. I like to get a Pulled Pork Sandwich to-go order for lunch while I am at work. I work at the mall fulltime and every time someone asks where to get good BBQ I tell them Half Sauced, across from WalMart! This happens a lot ;P I also love that this place is not a chain. It's FABULOUS!

Outstanding BBQ!! Everything on the menu is fantastic, the burnt ends and pulled pork are delicious as well as all the sides and sauces. I drive out of my way when I am in this part of Missouri to stop for the BBQ. The quality is consistent year after year and always worth the drive.

I had the brisket sandwich today. It does not get any better then that.!!

I can not imagine anyone not liking half sauced BBQ. I eat there at least once a week, and they have catered functions for me often. I have never had anything that was not 100% top notch! The owner Cindy is almost always there and she stays on top of everyone that comes in always checking to see if they enjoyed everything and if she can get them anything else. I don't know how anyone could ask for more, great service, great food and a responsive manager!

Maybe my wife and I showed up on the wrong night or there is another half sauced bbq.We went to the one located close to the burger king.I had the sampler with brisket-burnt ends and lets not forget the pit beans.My wife had the platter with the burnt ends and pulled pork. I love good bbq,but was unimpressed with the food I recieved.My brisket was horribly dry and no matter how much sauce I put on it it still could not eat it.My wife snuck A bite of my pit beans and the look of unadulterated horror was priceless(if I had got a pic would of been worth the price)The burnt ends were just that,burnt. The steak fries were good though Our waitress was friendly although A little disoriented,The owner came and took our order and then our waitress came and tried to take it again! They seemed A little surprised when they asked me how I was enjoying my meal and I replied to both it was ok.You would of thought I smacked them. I have eaten great great bbq all over and how they won best at the lake 2010 is beyond me.Bandanas or hyvees bbq is better and a better value I must say.I have no desire to go back

By far the best place to eat at the lake. The food is always excellent, the portion size is huge! We always end up taking something home. Service is great. Cindy makes you feel welcome every time we go. The brisket and pulled pork are my favorites but I can honestly say I have never had anything there that wasn't top notch. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Just got back from Osage Beach. On our last day we stopped by Half Sauced on a recommendation from the guy at our resorts marina. I like to think I'm an authority on BBQ, and I half to say, Half Sauced was excellent. Excellent food, excellent service!! We are heading to South Missouri this weekend, and we'll definately be stopping at Half Sauced on our way through. If you get a chance, definately stop. You wont regret it.
