Tiger Sushi, Minneapolis

My favorite Sushi bar/restaurant by far is Tiger Sushi. If you've read the other reviews then I don't mind boring you with the following... You do not, and I repeat, do not have to like Sushi to go here. I love the Udon Noodle soup, Salmon balls, and the Zen. Their dessert is also top notch which I haven't found to be the case at other Sushi joints. If you have a sweet tooth like me, then you will love the Mango Cake. I'm addicted, and sometimes have to order one or two to go.**smile** The service is great too with their new aged retro decor. I love the lime green, it goes well with the whole sushi wasabi theme.

You don't have to like Sushi to go here. I go every time I'm in town. I like the Hibachi Chicken/Beef/Salmon, the Udon Noodle Soup, the Tempura Shrimp, and especially the Seafood Cakes. YUMMY! If you like juice try the Nantucket Nectars (nothing better).

The sushi was very good but also very expensive. Dinner for my boyfriend and I, without any alcohol, was close to $80! Also, the restaurant is located inside of the mall and it almost feels like you're in a fish bowl with others watching you. It's just pretty expensive for looking like a simple place to eat.

I have been coming to Tiger Sushi since they opened. This place is the best to bring people who may be cautious of trying Sushi for the first time. EVERY person that I have brought here who had a bad impression of Sushi left with me asking when we could go back. The Saki is amazing, but be careful...too many and you will be feeling it! DEFINTLEY try the Zen (Number 10) which is their classic dish - it is AMAZING. The snoopy rolls are excellent and the Spicy Tuna rolls rock as well. Come to think of it...I've NEVER had a bad dish here. If you sit at the sushi bar to watch the Chef's work, they are more than willing to suggest something if you are unsure of what to order! I wish that they would open more locations around the Twin Cities to broaden the knowledge of this wonderful little restaurant!
