Famous Dave's, Grand Rapids

I'll never understand why people tend to rave about this place, I've been to this specific location a couple times with four or more people. Each time, every single person's meal was below average. The rolls/buns they serve chicken sandwiches & burgers on are crumbling apart and stale (a tip - toast fresh buns on the grill!) The beef brisket was horrible on two separate occasions. The chicken wings are just okay - we'd rather go to BW-3 - the prices and the food quality are much better.

Yum. Just yummm. The cornbread is delicious, the chicken fingers delectable, and dessert was out of this world. Yum!!

My husband and I had been looking for decent rib tips since he moved from Detroit and when we dined at Famous Daves and took our first bite, we looked at each other and I knew we'd be coming back for more. It's just good food.

You can't go wrong dining at Famous Dave's. The food is delcious and you get large portions for a reasonable price. The service is excellent and the staff always greets you with a smile. The ribs tips and beef brisket melt in your mouth!! If you haven't been, you should go. You won't be disappointed!

It's well worth the trip to head out to Famous Dave's! The portions are huge and the prices are good. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal from this restaurant as everything is wonderful - and I highly recommend the salmon spread :)
