Whispers Restaurant, Glen Burnie

I went to see a friend who played there in a band. The food wasn't bad but the service was completely horrible! The waitress would just disapear for an hour at a time. I would have to walk over to the bar to get my drink. Then, at the bar, all the bartenders would just stand there and look at you. Then to top it all off, they charged my friend with food and drinks he never ordered. It took another 30 minutes to get his bill straight. I paid for my bill with a Visa card. The bill was $67.29 and I gave a $7.71 tip (service was really bad!) for a total of $75.00. However I guess the waitress felt it necessary to add more of a tip and I was overcharged. I called Whispers and left a message. They did call back and said that I shouldve complained about the service to the manager. I said I did complain. I complained to the waitress, the bartenders and the other waitress who also questioned where my wiatress went off to. The lady on the phone said "yea, but you should've spoke to the manager". As a first time customer, how am I suppose to know who the manager is? They apparently don't train their staff to get a manager for the customer. It must be solely the customer's responsibility to find a manager. Anyway, I took the issue up with my bank. If have to go to Whispers, PAY IN CASH!!!!!!!! And double check your bill, the staff there steals!!!!

The food was average, def not great. my service was slow, the manager was rude and not helpful at all, She is def the reason I will not be returning again, that and the place is just as low class as her. There was nothing but trash there! I mean if I have to surround my self with such trashy people, at least make the food or entertainment worth it. I guess i shouldn't have expected more from glen burnie. The bathrooms were also gross. Another thing I look at when visiting an establishment that serves food. If they cant keep the bathroom clean where the customers can see, how is it where we cant see? Overall I was very dissatisfied. I was referred to go there from a friend but never again. And withthis monday night football thing I ALMOST went to, so glad i didnt, i heard nothing but bad things about how much of a bust it was, so like my title says, dont waste your time

This place is fun. They have different nights; Karaoke, Jazz, etc. Call first to see if they are having what you like. I have never eaten there, but I heard the food was good.
