Kakahaia County Beach Park
Located on the same property as the Kakahai'a Pond bird sanctuary, Kakahaia County Beach Park is a pleasant place for a family outing or group picnic. The beach offers decent swimming and plenty of soft sand to walk or sit on. Picnic tables are available. As with all Moloka'i beaches, use caution when entering the water. There are no lifeguards on the island, and the tides and currents can create dangerous situations. Always ask a local about conditions (call the Visitor's Association) before attempting to swim.
