This sleek, gorgeous 65-foot yacht competed in the 1987 America's Cup race. If you want to experience the thrills of high-speed sailing, join the experienced crew for a morning, afternoon or sunset sailing excursion. Whale watching expeditions depart daily during whale watching season (December 15-April 30), while Tradewind Sails take place twice daily year-round. Sunset sails are a singularly romantic excursion. Prices include beverages and light snacks. Call for more information and reservations.
This was an awesome time. My wife and I wanted a nice sunset sail off of Maui. For a cheap price we were able to sail on this historical 65 ft. yacht and i even got to raise the sail! Save your money and go eat in Lahaina after the sail instead of going with one of those expensive dinner cruises with water down drinks. Our captain and his first mate (Nathan if i remember correctly) had a great knowledge of the boat and surroundings. They provided snacks and drinks and even gave us a great recommendation for dinner afterwards. You will not be disappointed with the America II!
I went with my parents to Maui four years ago and sailed on the America II. I enjoyed it so much, my husband and I are going again next week on our honeymoon. He's never sailed, and I thought this would be a great way to start. The crew was friendly; the sunset was beautiful; the sailing was fast and exciting.
For pure fun at a decent price, you can't beat America II. When the boat lists over and the waves and spray hit your face, it's pure exhilaration. We've made this ride a regular feature of our Maui trips. Been on it 11 times and counting. Yo Ho Ho!

We took an afternoon tradewinds cruise and loved it! You get going pretty fast and get all wet, which was great! My boys (11 and 15) thought it was cool too. One of the more reasonable things we did in Hawaii.
Wonderful adventure for all! Professional, but funny crew. A very wet afternoon. Had a great time talking with other passengers. My son, age 9, had the ride of his life. He also met another boy, his same age, to share this experience with.
Along with Wailea, this is the resort hotspot of the island. Ka'anapali is Maui's equivalent of Waikiki Beach, although it
comes nowhere close to being that big or busy. The entire beach is open to the public. Access is ...
The town of Lahaina was a prominent port for Pacific Ocean whaling for 50 years. This unique floating museum, which
is actually a 90 foot replica of a square rigged 19th century merchant ship, contains historical artifacts and details ...
While this bar is a fun hangout spot during the daytime, it becomes truly atmospheric in the evenings. A multitude
of candles and lights add their glow to the dusk as the sun wanes. Live entertainers begin to tune ...
