Blue Water Rafting, Kihei

We went on the 5 1/2 hr Lava Flow and Molokini tour and it was one of the best experiences ever. The sites were amazing and the snorkeling was the best. My favorite part was rafting through the ocean, so much better than a boring cruise ship. If you're not into having fun and would rather lounge in a chair while seeing the sites from afar, don't go on this. This boat goes fast and spends 1/2 the time in the air when traveling to the snorkeling sites. It was literally like a roller coaster on water, everyone on the boat had a smile that couldn't be wiped off. Our guides Joe and Dante were the best. They knew their stuff but didn't bore you with a 10minute lecture. They provide all the cool interesting facts and show you a good time. Very helpful during the snorkeling (our 1st time) and were always there if you needed something. Will definitely book this trip every time I visit Maui.

The tour, the captains & crew are the best in the busuness! I have been on other, big boat, tours & they can't compare with Blue Water Raft Co.. The scenery, snorkeling & fabulous crews are absolutely AWESOME!!! I go every time i visit the island & still look forward to the trip...that's saying something! If you have the chance...GO!!!

Wow!! What a great trip. Brad and Dog rule! Heading out we had the tunes pumping and the ride was sick. I have to admit my back took a bit of a beating but well worth it. Backing into the cave was unreal, Brad is one hell of a captain. Drift snorkeling was great and the back side of Molokini was amazing. If you don't like getting wet and don't have an adventurous side, don't go. I have seen a few bad reviews that all stem from people not asking questions first and whining later. The web site is very clear as to what is offered. I will be back.

Captain Jeff and first mate Devon were awesome! Jeff is a first-rate captain, safely manuevering our raft into cool places the other captains wouldn't go and Devon was a riot! We also seemed to be the only raft playing rockin tunes as we blasted along crashing into waves. We saw the beautiful Kanaio coast and even the kids were kept interested by having them search the lava flows for unusual structures like the sorting hat from Harry Potter and the lion king. We then snorkeled in La Perouse Bay, sadly we only saw the spinner dolphins from a distance. Then out to the biggest highlight of the trip - Molokini crater, a snorkeler's paradise of colorful fish and crystal clear water. Jeff and Devon even took us to the backside of the crater - which nobody else does (or so we were told). All in all an awesome experience, well worth it! I loved the whale watch trip because they don't harass the whales - the whales came to us! Very close - within 2 metres of the boat! shortly will be sending photos! I definitely would take this trip again. The captain and first-mate on the zodiac were safe, knowledgeable, fun and involved.

We took the Kanaio Coast trip today and it was absolutely wonderful. I would certainly recommend it for anyone with a spirit of adventure. Joe (skipper) and Scott (crew) were very helpful and especially accommodating of my 81 year old mother. There weren't huge schools of fish at the snorkeling stops, but the water was very clear and getting to swim with sea turtles made it all worthwhile. The scenery along the Kanaio coast is spectacular and Joe was able to bring us up close and personal with a number of the more interesting features. If you are driving from the Lahaina/Kaanapali area, allow 45-50 minutes driving time to get there.

This was the most fun I've had in ages. Exhilerating. Informative. Great crew. And we got to swim with dolphins and sea turtles. What could be better?

then don't skip this excursion! My husband & I had an amazing time and would do it again in a heartbeat. I want to mention that I am not the strongest of swimmers and this was my first time snorkeling...the captain & his assistant were so helpful and I wasn't the least bit scared. The views we saw were unbelievable and we even had some close encounters with whales. We can't wait to go back & do this tour again.

We had unusually nice weather so they were able to take the rafts to places they normally can't. Had a great time, Ted the skipper and Conner kept us informed and entertained. Snorkeling the outer reef off Molokini had excellent visability and saw several turtles off Red Beach. No head on boat so make sure to use restroom at harbor. Breakfast was some small slices of fruit and lunch was cold cut sandwiches and a cookie. Not like other snorkel boats (good thing), you just need to be more prepared. A wet, cool, no facilities, bumpy, light food. Well worth it however if you are fun loving, want excellent snorkeling at more the a couple spots!

Adventure of a lifetime. These folks do a terrific job. Our captain and guide were supurb. The trip was a blast, and we can't wait to go again.
