All of the natural light in this restaurant comes from the beachfront side. On sunny days, the ingenious management somehow contrives to remove the entire wall, leaving the restaurant wide open to the breezes. From Tuesday through Saturday, diners get an added bonus from the back porch: a free view of the critically acclaimed (and very expensive) Feast At Lele (The). In spite of the central location and amazing view, the prices remain low. The menu features sandwiches, steaks, pasta and seafood.
Ribs were falling off the bone and the sauce was delicious. Being open to ocean breezes, birds came in and landed.
Reasonably priced with interesting daily specials like lobster.
Located in a delightful little mall with fun shops.
We loved this place!
Living on Maui, we have been to a lot of fine places and I must admit Hecock's is one of the best. We stopped in about 11:00 and what a good surprise...breakfast AND lunch were being served! My husband had a great hamburger w/fries and I had the mahi mahi eggs benedict. Totally delicious! Driving all the way from Haiku just for a meal at Heacock's was worth every mile!
This is the place to go in the Lahaina area for late brunch because most places stop serving breakfast items by around 11 0r 11:30 AM. Heacocks serves breakfast at least up to around 1 PM. The eggs were cooked perfectly according to your request (sunny-side up, over easy, etc.), and they made the best pancakes we had on the island! We ate brunch or breakfast there several times during our stay.
As for Dinner, the food was really good and the service was excellent. The seafood was finely prepared, and my daughter loved her steak also. The bar drinks were pretty good too; particularly their Mai Tais and Zombies. The place has a great view of Lahaina Harbor and the sunsets there are nice. For the morning/afternoon brunches the view of the boats in the harbor was really fine. All in all, this is a good place to eat at in the Lahaina area. Though there are some restaurants that may be a little better in the area, they are often a little more expensive, and as I said: this place provides a good breakfast until about 1 PM.
With a great waterfront location and an extensive, reasonably priced menu, thie eatery is one of the best bargains in
