Princeville Ranch Horseback Adventures
Waterfalls, lookout points, hidden grottos, ponds and pastures are all over this 2,55-acre ranch, but only an experienced guide can find them. Hidden Hanalei offers hikers the chance to follow in the footsteps of such a guide, while the Waterfall Swim Picnic allows you to view the beauty of Kauai from horseback and then splash around the lush springs and 80-foot waterfall followed by lunch on a nearby bank. The Ocean Bluff Ride provides panoramic views of the Kauai coast and the best scenery that Kauai has to offer. If you're looking for more of an adventure be sure to book the Cattle Drive Horseback Adventure which allows you to help herd and drive the cattle to a new pasture. You'll feel like a true paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) when you're surrounded by 500 calves and cattle. A Private Guide can also be arranged so you can enjoy the day absorbing the knowledge of your guide or sharing a day of fun with your family and friends. All hikes must be booked in advance so be sure to call ahead or check the website for details and reservations.

Travelled extensively and this is one of the best "adventure activities" anywhere! Took the waterfall hike 4 years ago and will be returning to Kauai June 2007, and we're planning to do this hike again + another of their adventures. Very positive memories from 4yrs. ago, which is why I've looked them up to book again! This group is first-class, all-the-way!
We recently visited the beautiful Island of Kauai and had a delightful experience of hiking. The hiking tour was both extremely enjoyable and informative. The hike was a bit more than we expected. We were led through pastures and meadows and then down into a tropical paradise including beautiful waterfalls and streams. The trails were quite steep at times and more challenging than we expected but well worth the tirp. We would recommend this hike and our hiking guide to anyone. The name of our guide was Garrett and not only was he very knowledgeable about the history of the Hawaiian Islands as well as the plants, trees and foilage along the trail, but his personality made the hike so much fun. Every step of the way he was there to lend a helping hand, answer questions and his wonderful sense of humor kept us laughing and entertained the entire hike. It was obvious that he genuinely likes people and loves what he does. Thank you Garrett!
We definitely would recommend this hike to anyone. Next time we go back we want to do the Zip Line that is also offered as a tour.
