Located just outside Princeville Resort, the Princeville Center does not offer much in the way of designer boutiques, but it definitely covers all the basics. Aside from essentials (banks, gas station, a locally owned grocery store), the center is made up of about 35 shops and restaurants. Among them are Lappert's Ice Cream, the Kite & Hobby Shop and the Hawaiian Art Museum. Business hours vary by shop. Most of the specialty stores are open 9am-7pm daily; the grocery store is open till 11pm. Credit card acceptance policies vary by store.

1 reviews for Princeville Shopping Center
Jewel on Kauai's North Shore
By TaxiH, 07/31/08
The Princeville Shopping Center, now called Princeville Center, has received a new look to enhance the fabulous location of this quaint property. Originally constructed in the late 1970's, the buildings have been graced with a more feminine touch: new color schemes, Hawaiian landscaping with indigenous plants, a relaxed ambience due to copious seating that is open to the public, as well as a food court that is expected to offer entertainment with an open-air theme. It's worth a stop just to see the manicured grounds and to observe some of the world's rarest plants, in addition to fueling up on food at some of the most inventive eateries available on Kauai.
