If you visit Salisbury you must stop by this fascinating traditional tavern and restaurant. You can grab a gin and tonic in a room not much bigger than a cupboard, or enjoy a wonderful fire (in the winter) in the company of regulars in the larger room. Alternatively, you can view a hand believed to have belonged to an unlucky gambler found cheating! There is a restaurant upstairs serving traditional and modern English food, with prices from about £8.
