Description
Yes, the interior may be very basic - if not a little drab - but compensation comes in the form of good service and some of the tastiest Eastern cuisine in town. The Japanese/Chinese menu is mostly based around Ramen dishes (soup-based noodles), rice dishes and pan-fried noodle dishes. Mouth-watering main courses include chicken katsu curry and chilli ebi ramen (with prawns). Those who are strapped for cash have a choice of two set meals for about £10. A good introduction to Japanese cuisine.
Great staff, food and service. Good value for money too !!!. the decor is somewaht dated but this should not be looked at as a bad sign. The staff are friendly and quality of food and service was spot on. I went down at lunchtime and the place was busy so good job I booked the table in advance!. Been here before with other friends and the quality is still great!
This is one of Leeds unsung heroes its cafe like decor gives it that feeling that its not about the surroundings its about the food and that it is. This place is top quality, if you want to the true taste of Japan look no further than Fuji Hiro. I love this place and the Ramen is a the best! you couldn't get a flavor more true to what you would find on the streets of Tokyo. I have been to the London restaurant referred to by the other reviewer and the Ramen is very westernized with over powering flavors not subtle complex flavors like Fuji Hiro. JUST GO make up your own mind.
Great food (try the Spicied Chicken Men!!) got addicted to it over the summer :) The service is great, all the staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome.
