Tandoori Palace, Cambridge

Established in 1995, the Tandoori Palace is run by the Miah family who also own the Taste of Bangladesh on Newmarket Road, and the Kohinoor on Mill Road. House specials are well recommended and include the Palace special, which is a particularly tasty assortment of tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and chicken kebab all cooked in onions, green peppers, garlic, ginger, a thick sauce and served with special rice. Starters range from dhal soup and tomato to king prawn butterfly. Beers, wines and spirits, as well as soft drinks are all available to help wash down your meal. And the atmosphere is suitably relaxed, too, allowing you to make the most of your meal in the pleasant surroundings.
