We just had a wonderful lunch! Delicious salad, succulent fried chicken, creamy and rich mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh green beans, warm, buttery yeast rolls, and a little ice cream sundae to top it all off. So good! The decor of the restaurant is ecclectic and fun. The Kopper Kettle reminds me of Sundays at grandmas. Happy times... Great lunch pricing til 4pm! We had plenty of chicken to take home for later. Friendly, welcoming, and efficient staff. I highly recommend the Kopper Kettle!

Our family recently dined at the Kopper Kettle Inn, in Morristown Indiana. (Mother’s day 13 May, 2012). The building itself is a converted early 1900 s home with very well done gardens surrounding the Inn. With the home style architecture, the dining area was very noisy due to the large crowd (somewhat understandable) but almost impossible to have a conversation using a normal tone and volume. There were a total of 9 of us in the party with an additional 4 that had to cancel due to family illness. None the less, the personnel at this establishment still charged us for the original 13, which may be somewhat acceptable considering reservations, busy day etc. even though there were always empty seats throughout the dining area. The food was plentiful but honestly not that outstanding. Large bowls were brought to the table (Mash potatoes, green beans) as well as the main meat which was chicken. Both the potatoes as well as green beans weren t that hot when served and naturally cooled quickly. The green beans seemed to be loaded with stems indicating a lower quality institutional size can that was used. The salad (although plentiful) was at best the most plain salad I ve ever been served. (Lettuce, radishes, cucumbers and a few croutons.) The chicken although good, wasn t anything any better than could be purchased at Kroger’s from the Deli. The biggest issue I have is the price. I feel that we were over charged to say the least. In checking the normal pricing during the week, it appears that $16.95 was an average going price for a meal. For Mother’s day, the price jumped to a minimum of $25.00 per person. I feel that this was very expensive considering the average quality of the meal. The resulting bill for this meal was $321.00 which included an automatic 18% gratuity. If it were just me, I d say that it was just a personal assessment of this establishment, but all of the members of our party were in agreement. Average (at best), over priced and over hyped considering other establishments where better food at lower pricing was and is available. We won t be back.

We get the takeout a couple times a month. Fried Chicken and 3 sides with rolls. Very affordable especially for my family of 5. And I can't get this much at KFC for the price. Love the place!!!!

Went to the Kopperkettle with friends, middle of December, had a wonderful time. My fillet was perfect, and the mashed potatoes were to die for. The other sides were ok at best. The Christmas decorations were lavish, a very festive place to have a Holiday dinner. Will going there again soon.

We visited the Kopper Kettle Restaurant for one of their dinner shows. What a neat place to go for dinner!! The restaurant was like taking a step back in time. This early 1900's restaurant still remains authentic to the time, even down to the china at every table. It is very lavishly decorated. I was told that the Holiday decor is absolutely beautiful!! They also have seating in their gardens, which I would like to try sometime. Not only is this a unique restaurant to see, the food is fantastic! We had their famous fried chicken dinner with all the sides. You don't want to miss visiting this place!!

I loved the Kopper Kettle. It is in a Victorian-style setting and the food is scrumptious. What a great way to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend it.

i think this place could be great. unfortunately it's very expensive and the food is not good. i had a filet and my wife had fried chicken. it came with canned green beans, canned corn, i had bleu cheese on the fillet, it came swimming in salad dressing. the rolls were straight from the supermarket. the place is decorated just like grandma's house with plastic plants everywhere. the servers are forced to wear tragic outfits. the carpet isn't fresh. i came in with high hopes and left with shattered dreams :( zero stars. my recommendation, fast food is a better bet.

We had dinner at the Kopper Kettle a few years ago and it was great! What idiot would go there and order fried chicken anyway? If that's all they could afford, they should have gone to KFC. We plan on going back next week.
