Waterworld, Stoke-on-Trent

Although Waterworld is a fair distance from Birmingham, for a fun day out it really is worth the trip. The swimming pool boasts 17 water rides and attractions including Nucleus, an indoor water roller coaster and on Friday evenings there is a DJ so you can enjoy chart sounds while you swim. There are plenty of refreshments available at the cafe and bar. Over 400,000 visitors come every year so it can get busy, particularly in the summer holidays; although with its constantly maintained tropical environment it seems like summer all year round.
