Description

This famous American chain has only the one restaurant in Birmingham, found on the Hagley Road heading out of town. It's patronised by families in holiday time but predominantly the clientele comprises a younger crowd looking for a fun night out. The menu is dominated by burgers and steaks, of course, but Mexican dishes are also available. The portions are generous and worth the £7-10 you'll pay for a main course. Your waiter is ever-attentive and the surroundings are clean and tidy.

Over priced, poor service and quality of food.

My boyfriend and I live across the road from TGI's so it is a really convenient destination for a quick meal out. However, on our most recent visits we have waited anywhere up to 30 minutes to even order drinks, let alone place a food order!!! It was so bad on a recent visit that we walked out, went home and were able to make our own burgers (from scratch) in around 20 minutes. In addition to this, the poor quality of food (pre-packaged, frozen and then burnt on an industrial grill) and high prices mean that we will NOT be making another visit again.

A fantastic Day Out

I came on my birthday (10 years old) and I really enjoyed it. We had a waiter called Barry and he got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to me which was very kind.
