For the finest food, service,ambience and value for money you will not beat the Dawat. We have tried other Balti Restaurants over the years with friends but decided a number of years ago that this restaurant sets the standard that others should look up to. Never had a bad meal or any reason to complain so that is why we keep coming here for an evening out that is all ways special. Nazeem please do not change anything. Nice place clean, staff friendly, but for the money the food not very authentic made, caters for more the english. small portion presented in a fancy way, so for a family of 4 young kids and us would cost a arm and leg. more food for the money please.

I am a very fussy eater and this is the only place that i will eat out at and belive me i dont eat anywhere else but my home, i am of Rastafarian faith and i dont have to worry about cross contamination ever. The establishment is clean, pleasant and very well located with a car park opposite. I have been eating here for years and i dont even live in Birmingham, try it and you will be hooked just like me and my family Jah Love Claudette & Family

It was the first time I have eaten at the Dawat since it's recent refurbishment and what a difference it has made! The dining area has received a terrificly comfortable contemporary / modernist refit without being OTT. The open plan BBQ kitchen and a wash hand basin in the dining area are particularly nice touches. The menu has reduced in size to something more manageable where they can cocentrate on producing quality fare. Having eaten around Ladypool Road, Stoney Lane and Stratford Road for nearly 30 years, and travelling regulary to India, I know my curry and this is now the best Indian food you can eat in Birmingham IMO. Congrtaulations !!!

werll well what a night brilliant!!!!!!!! the new improved dawat must be the best balti we ever have ever had the food is brilliant and the cleaniness of the restaurant is 10/10 The life and soul of the dawat is long johny and we guess the boss nazm is the body always on top of things (great to see) well done boys see you friday
