Fondation de l'Hermitage
Fondation de l'Hermitage, a wonderful old house has been refurbished and holds exhibitions of paintings in a magnificent setting. The house itself is well worth the visit: the floorboards, chimneys and ceilings create an ideal decor for the string of prestigious temporary exhibitions on display. Enjoy the fantastic view of the old Cite quarter as you stroll around the superb park which surrounds this manor. A great cafeteria in the former attic room provides refreshments or a bite to eat. Organized tours for the public happen on Thursdays and Sundays. Free playgrounds are available for children.
The building is very beautiful & set amongst peaceful grounds.
The house is Interesting as many of the original features remain, such as the ceilings & fireplaces.
The Artwork is always well set out covering many of the rooms over 3 floors.
I would totally reccomend a visit, well worth the entrance price & the grounds are free to wander around In.
