My favorite restaurant in town! Their food is soooo good! It's a little high priced, so my husband and I go for special meals. I love the pineapple fried rice. The presentation is beautiful and it tastes delicious.
Let me begin by saying that the food is good. However if the experience of eating it isn't good, then the food hardly holds any value. I think that the staff is non-responsive to brown skinned customers. The service is delayed and the staff minus a smile. I love the food so much that we would go often despite the poor service until it came to a point that we decided to put a stop. They charge a gratuity of 18% for a party of even 2 people. I am not sure why their attitude is such, but it definitely is a big let down.
I visit Thai Spice at least once a week. Great food! I really like the Pad Kemau and Pad King dishes. Also the coconut soup! It's my favorite! Highly recommended!
I think the writer(s) below are the same person. I talked to the owner and they said someone refused to pay for food after they ate it. I know I've never seen any bugs, other than a fly or 2 in summer.
I'm soooooooo agree with the last review. I would not go there ever again. I also saw the cockroach run around in their kitchen ( I was sitting right in front of their kitchen's door and saw the cockroaches when the waitress leave the door open!!!)
If you really love Thai food, find it somewhere else. I'm surprise why it is still open. I'm strongly not recommend this place.
Decent service, average food, TERRIBLE CLEANLINESS! We found a COCKROACH (the size of my thumbnail) in our chicken and rice dish. After discovering the bug-the manager still wanted us to pay for our meal! Apparently it's not the cleanest restaurant around. I Would NOT recommend this place based on cleanliness of the kitchen.
I'm not too thrilled about the dressing they use on their salads, but I go there for the entrees. I can't remember the name of the one I usually get, but anything with the coconaut noodles is VERY good! A large amount of food for a decent price.
All around an alright restaunt if you are ok with sub-par thai cuisine. They also offer fried tofu as an appetizer but refuse to prepare their dishes with it instead of meat selections. Also, the masaman is way too sweet.
This place really is good. If you ask for a 4 or 5, you will usually get it (hard to get a real 5 anywhere). Great selection, always fresh. Great for take out too.
