A semla is a cream bun with almond paste, and one of the best places to have them is at Konditori Chapmans Torg. Supposedly during Lent, but actually the entire winter, semlor features on any cafe menu. This place may not look much to the world, but its semlor are among the best in Gothenburg. You can also buy good bread here, and the usual pastries and cakes.

Eat their "kokosbollar"!!

They have the tastiest "coconut/chocolate balls" I´ve ever tried. Go there pretty early in in the day, because in the afternoon some things might be gone.
