Cachirulo (El), Zaragoza

A typically austere Aragonese building in brick with wrought iron balconies on the road to Logroño, this restaurant offers fine regional cuisine and wines. Migas (fried bread crumbs with grapes and other ingredients), tender grilled lamb and blood sausage are all house specialties. Some of the French-influenced dishes on the menu will satisfy the gourmets, like the lobster ragout, stuffed lamb crepinette and chocolate mousse over mint coulis. As for the wine, it's all Aragonese. Entertainment is laid on in the form of traditional song and dance.
