This is one of the first reservoirs to have been built in the province. It's located about 30km from the capital, just beyond Alba de Tormes . It performs numerous functions: producing hydroelectric energy, crop irrigation, regulating river levels and serves as a venue for watersports. The club house has mooring spaces for boats. The surrounding area offers excellent trout fishing locations and attractive scenery for a day out in the the country.
