You will find this museum in Casa de Álvarez Abarca , which is located next to the University and the Fray Luis de León statue. It is a Gothic and Renaissance building where you can enjoy a great many works of art: altarpieces, paintings, sculptures and archaeological objects found during several excavations carried out all over the old quarter. The prize item, however, is a work entitled Llanto por Cristo muerto (Crying over Dead Christ) by Luis de Morales. You should also visit the nearby Casa-Museo de Miguel de Unamuno .
