Funny in an old fashioned way

First of all you have to have transport or pre-booked taxi cos our day was affected, along with many other people's, by the inability to raise a taxi - seems everywhere was engaged and taxis dont turn up touting for business either.
The walk to, and over, the busy motorway footbridge to nearest bus stop was not fun, with small children in tow.
Funny beach was suffering a jellyfish epidemic along its coastline which prevented most but the foolhardy to venture into the water.
I caught about 40 in my sons fishing net.
The rides were not that dear and were of good variety inc a round boat powered by a petrol engine that you spun on a small pond almost like a waltzer.
There is enough for the small children even if the rides were very old looking. Coin operated diggers and those sit on machines found in supermarkets. Trampoline bungees were a lot of fun for the toddlers and there was a caged one for the grown ups that looked a bit Mad Max like.
Anyway, a good day but you must have something to get 'home' in.
