I am in shock after reading some of the reviews of this restaurant. I have been going to Marbella for many years now and was delighted last year to stumble across Albert and Simon. It is by far the most superior restaurant - food is excellent, service was attentive and great value for such a high quality restaurant, especially compared to what one would pay in Dublin for such food - i couldn't fault a thing.

the food is exelent. We have been there many times and everything is always very good. The deserts are marvelius. For us is the best restaurant now.

this restaurant has excellent food therefore i would go back, if i had 3 hours to spare to wait for my starter. upon arrival we waited 20 minutes for a menue and a further 20 minutes for our drinks. 15 minutes later our order was quickly scribbled down and before our starters had arrived we had been sitting there for 45 minutes with no apology or waiter asking if we wanted any more drinks. the food was very good however it took them a further 30 minutes to clear away our starters and literally as our starters were being taken away our main course was slapped down in front of us. the service was awful, there were not enough waiters, 3 to be precise, one of whom carelessly stood on my little dog. (may i add this particular waitor had previously done this before a few weeks ago when we first tried the restaurant out!) all in all the food was good, the service was very poor, the waiters were rude the value was poor and the ambiance was average( a restaurant on a road side) our entire meal for four cost us over 300EUROS and we were sat there for a total of 3 and half hours. All we wanted was a quick meal!

Having ordered a signature dish reommended by my host I found it still frozen in the centre. On finally getting the attention of a waiter the dish was removed without apology and twenty minutes later the same dish was returned by the surly waiter again without an apology. It is not value for money.

Disliked everything Service terrible had to wait half hour for a roll!When food came cold. In the end walked out paid for starters and drinks 100 euros! for 6 people
