I visited SA in Sep 2006 and dined in this restaurant, it was good then. Now again I am in SA and based on my past experience I invited 7-8 guests to dine with me there last week, but this time the experience was extremely disappointing. Following are the points I would like to mention: 1) The service was slow and extremely poor 2) We asked for spicy food but it seems that the chef has no idea what spicy means, what we got was food with extra chilli powder which burned our mouth... that's not spicy .. it's called HOT! 3) There was excessive use of poor quality color in the food which left our fingers red. 4) There was no salt in food. I live in US and am basically an Indian, I know what Indian food is, I travel a lot and make sure that I try the supposedly best Indian restaurant in the area. I have to say that so far this was my worst experience. I feel that money I had spent was total waste and my guests were disappointed too. Additionally they charged 10% of the bill as service charge for the service that was non-existent! People who do not know what Indian food is might happily accept whatever is put on the table, but no Indian can say it's good food!
