Once, but never again

We went to the restaurant for a very special evening - and special it was. First of all, I had to sit with my feet in water (place was not checked properly after the rain of the previous days). This was only corrected after I had to get up and show the cleaner who was sent to clean up, where the water was (although I had shown the manager where it was wet).
After putting in our order, the big wait started. We were issued with various new knives and forks, every time hoping this is in preparation for our actual food.
After about an hour and a half, the waitress came to tell us that the chef was now only adding final touches. After just under two hours, at last: FOOD, which was nothing to rave about. Pretty average.
The restaurant was crowded and I suppose the manager (or whoever) overbooked, as they could (can?) obviously not cope.
Our first and very last visit to this restaurant.
