Nonya or Peranakan cuisine comprises a unique fusion of Malay and Chinese influences. Crisp white linen on indigo tablecloths and wooden chairs create a modern feel. Decor pieces, looking as if they have come from a Peranakan home, give this restaurant its distinct character. Some of the more traditional and popular dishes include bakwan kepitin (meatball with crab meat); curry fish head and otah otah--a delicacy of fish wrapped in banana leaf and charcoal-grilled.
