This restaurant is known for its well-prepared North Indian dishes. The menu is divided into three categories: mild, spicy and very spicy. The ambience is rather lavish, with teak tables and chairs and displays of Indian artefacts. Nightly performances (except Tuesdays) of traditional music by a three-piece ensemble from Nepal entertain diners. As expected, the tandoori (baked in a clay oven) and korma (rich curry) dishes are outstanding. Meats are tender and juicy, and retain their flavours well. The wine list is limited, with labels from France, Australia and Italy.
