Bennetts Government Bookshop stocks a healthy range of books, with a special emphasis on non fiction, and stationery. They are also the only place in town where you can purchase legislation, electorate maps and other parliamentary or political related information. Though not the most extensive of selections, the fiction shelves are well stocked, particularly with contemporary literature and there is an excellent section on New Zealand publications.
