Bourgeoise cuisine is brought to you in this small casual restaurant on the city rim in Thorndon. The decor is plain and everything seems to have a touch of pink. The restaurant occupies two rooms so eating spaces are reasonably private. It is great for groups who can take over a space. Food, like Prime Scotch fillet, French Cotelete and Chicken Tenderloin is prepared in a French provincial style. There is a blackboard dessert menu. Not licensed.
I love it. Wonderful freshest mouthwatering food, friendly service, always warm and caring. The food is outstanding, unpretentious and ever changing. The early cheap plat du jour has 2 courses for less than 20 dollars and is exceptional value for travellors and locals alike.Clean cuisine, artesian water comolimentary and a semi organic profile. Lots of choice and memorable deep complex flavours, hot plates and vegetables includud in generous mains. Quirky and fun//
