Casa Pasta (La), Wellington

The service at this place left much to be desired. We ordered soup then anitpasto and a large entree. They tried to bully us to order our mains at the same time. We said we would wait till we knew we could eat it after the early dishes. When we insisted on waiting we were completley ignored for 50 mintues, before we had to ask for our soup to be delivered. As well we asked for a glass of white wine, but almost as revenge they plonked a bottle on the table and ran away before we could object. The waitress seemed to get embarrassed by the bad treatment of us and was very pleasant once the meal got under way. The food was very nice once we got it.

Good food, cheap prices. Average sized portions. Service a bit slow. This is a good place for a casual meal out. It is a fairly new location and quite new inside. It has a fully licensed bar.
