Bar Río Antiguo, Centro de Monterrey

Bar-Rio has been running for more than 10 years now, its popularity is based on the kind of people that visit the place. You might need to wait at the entrance for a while if you dont know any locals, you better get there with someone who has gone before so you can get a nice table. Most of tables are already assigned to people that frequently goes to the place. Cover is about $15 USD, a Bacardi bottle is $70 aprox... Nice girls, cool live music, the pop type. It will be closed for this month (July 2006) due to some makeover of the place.

Bar-rio is only for the Pretty people if you know what I mean...They are very selective and once you're in it's totally worth your time and money...Yvette

the place for the fancy party at mty, its is clasiffied just as the best disco club in all mty the party is perfect and people at the entrance is verry selective , you sholud be drees casual but whit style and be a little bit fancy

you will be met by snobs at the door. they may keep you waiting outside for an hour, or they might not let you in at all. the door bouncers are the worst in Monterrey. Not worth the US$20 dollar cover.
