Klebang Besar, Bachang

Klebang Besar is a suburban district popularly known for its beaches, beachfront hawker stalls, and old Straits Chinese-era mansions. It is easily reached by continuing straight on from the end of the one-way Jalan Tun Cheng Lock. The casuarinas-fringed shore of the Klebang Besar recreation area appears about 5 kilometers later. Here among the numerous hawker stalls overlooking the seaside, ikan bakar, or grilled fish, is a local specialty. Several resort hotels and budget-class lodgings can be found further down along the coastal road.
