Famosa Chicken Rice Ball, Melaka

The huge restaurant was empty which should have warned us, but we had read good reviews so persevered. We ordered roasted chicken with chicken rice balls and steamed chicken with chicken rice balls, and two lime juices. We live in Singapore and eat in hacker centres every day so we can see past the 'look' of a restaurant. However, our food arrived in about one minute, and was stone cold. The rice balls were just a starchy lump with no flavour and the chicken was nasty. We sent it back - we have never had Asian food so bad. The miserable hostess microwaved it, but the plate took most of the heat. The lime juice was thick and salty- DISGUSTING. So far in Asia, the cheapest food has been often been the best, this was a huge disappointment.
