Description

Tucked away in a discreet corner of Melaka Raya, this restaurant offers an excellent choice of North Indian cuisine. It is mainly frequented by the middle and upper income groups, businessmen and professionals. Soft music plays in the background and decor is basic. There is an excellent choice of naans (traditional grilled bread)--garlic, almond, keema, onion and even a Malacca Naan. Dishes like palak paneer, aloo ghobi, maharani kofta, keema peas, brinjal masala are the favourites of the regulars. Succulent chicken tandoori is also available.

FANTASTIC CRAB

I took my wife here and we enjoyed it so much that we spent our last evening in Malacca at this place.We had some excellent crab curry with seafood prawns on homemade puri roti.The chef ( Mr Jai ) gave us a jar of homemade lime pickle to take back to London. A warm atmosphere. I would recommend it 100%.More expensive than the usual places to eat but still cheap by London standards

fantastic tandoori chicken

the vegatable pakoras were the best i have ever tasted in both Asia and Europe.Still cheap by western standards and defianately worth the few extra Ringgit.Fish curry and Mango lasi are worth trying.All cooked fresh so you have to wait a while.....

great north indian food

i went to bonani resturant last year and ate some of the best indian food that i have ever had.excellent chiicken tandoori and fish curry also very nice indian breads.very cheap by european standards
