Description

This par-72 36-hole golf course was established in 1995, following the design by Peter Dalkeith Scott. The two courses, Hill Course and Austin Course, lie on different planes. Bermuda grass grows on the fairways, while Bermuda Tifdwarf covers the greens. Water hazards are well featured, especially on the Austin Course, where the par-3 17th is the signature hole, with an island green. Other facilities include a hotel and swimming pool.

Austin JB Golf: From Good to Bad to Worst

Austin had been a beautiful 36-hole golf course. But the course had deteriorated much, and had gone to be a 27-hole course, and now a 18-hole course. You can see the patch work moving around the course, from one tee box to the next. The green, which was once the pride of Austin, is now bumpy and full of holes. I would say it is no longer a decent golf course. Austin should have taken the advantage of its proximity to Singapore, and maintained a decent course.

Been there twice. Its a great place. Nice scenery. Club house very comfortable. Good place to golf and relax. Can bring your friends along to play a game of golf, very relaxing. Good job, Austin Hills!
