After taking in the sights of S. Francisco Barracks , there is an opportunity to sit and relax in these nearby gardens. Laid out on two levels, this green patch in the heart of Macau is a favorite haunt of school kids on their breaks and at lunchtime. On the upper level of the gardens there is a tower that was built to commemorate those that gave their lives in World War I. These days the same building houses the Association for the Handicapped.
