Praia Grande

We were highly recomended by our friends, we were surprise to find such a beautiful restaurant with truly authentic portuguese and macanese food served by nice people and offering wonderful life music. The restaurant is in a great location, along the tree-lined Praia Grande, and has an excellent decor. The service was warm, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, a famous gastronomic society, so I expected a fantastic meal. What a disappointment! The roast lamb was tough and the paella was tasteless! The paella for two persons, the roast lamb, a bottle of "mineral" water ($4.50) and a Sprite cost $62 with the service charge for the three of us and a cover charges of $1.25 per person. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant, at least not for its food!

IS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TRIP TO ASIA TO FIND SUCH A UNIQUE RESTAURANT WITH A SUPERB MENU, POLITE STAFF AND LIVE MUSIC SINGING ALL KIND OF SONGS SPECIALLY LATINO, OVERALL IT MAKES ME FEEL THAT I WAS IN PORTUGAL.
