Sankeien, Yokohama-Shi

I visited the gardens in Mid-May and they were incredible! The grounds were just lovely! I enjoyed all the water lillies and was surrounded by a great variety of people to watch as well as enjoying the gardens. There were several artists, college students, older people, tourists and a few groups of people dressed in traditional Japanese clothing. I also took advantage of attending the tea ceremony in the main museum. It was just wonderful. I was a real treat to learn about Japanese culture by experiencing it! Truly a place to make a return vist! Just what I intend to do next week!
