Great classic Indian food with some unique dishes that are surprisingly good. Delectable curries and perfect naan. A real treat - with reasonable prices. A bit of a challenge to find, but worth the hunt. You won't be disappointed
The best indian restaurant that I have found in the Tokyo / Yokohama area. The taste of the food is absolutely outstanding. A must try. A little off the beaten path, but still very close to the train station and one of the Chinatown gates in Yokohama.
Tiffin serves delicious and often creative Indian food, applying classic cooking methods to unusual ingredients (tandoori salmon, for example). The service is excellent, the ambience tasteful, thanks to the Indian origins and British training of its charming owner/manager, Sami. Ask him to explain the menu or even compose a meal for you. (We usually tell him how greedy we are feeling and let him choose for us.) It is a wonderful place to spend a leisurely evening deep in conversation over intensely satisfying, stimulating food.
