Description
Marizon is an attractive wharf-like area extending into the waters of Momochi Beach. Besides offering a number of classy restaurants (French, Chinese, Italian, seafood) with gorgeous views of the bay at night, there are also a number of souvenir shops, some bars and cafes, a video-game room, a wedding chapel, and a ferry that takes you across the bay to the Uminonakamichi resort and amusement area. It is a particularly romantic place at night, with benches providing views of the bay, beach, Fukuoka Tower, southern coast, and Sea Hawk/Fukuoka Dome area. Most restaurants are open from throughout the day, though the bars are open later. The area itself, however, is accessible at all hours.
