Shikanoshima Beach
Description
Not to be confused with the Kyuka-mura Shikanoshima Beach on the outer tip of the peninsula which caters more toward families, this beach (and all its youth) is located to your right just as you are coming in to Shikanoshima from the highway along the sandbar. You can certainly use the beach at other times—and many people do, especially surfers—but you run your own (incredibly minor) risk of being stung.
