Casale, Fukuoka-Shi

This small Italian restaurant serves a wide variety of food, but specializes in seafood. The dishes are perhaps more delicious than they otherwise would be because the sea is so close and every salt-water selection is served fresh with a capital F. Located away from the downtown area on a backstreet of Nishijin, the restaurant is pleasantly quiet. The canal that runs alongside the building will not bring back memories of Venice, but it does add a touch of charm.
