Rose Hall Great House, Montego Bay

My family and I just went on a cruise through the Western Caribbean and we stopped in Jamaica on Wednesday March 7. My brother-in-law research about cab drivers in Jamaica and came up with Courtney Taylor. I would just like to thank Courtney Taylor for a wonderful time. Just returned from cruise with a stop in Montego Bay. We booked courtneytaylortours for a sightseeing tour and also a stop at Rose Hall to do the tour. When we arrived at the port, asked at information for Courtney and the young lady took us right to him. We had Courtney himself for our driver. He was very courteous and very knowledgeable. We had preplanned to do some sightseeing and go to Rose Hall, and that is what we did. However, Courtney was open to do anything else we wanted. We had a great time and would book Courtney's services again.

I have been to jamaica 2 times and I would not mind going back every year! In 06 I went to the great hall in the scorching hot heat! the story is very creepy and sick! i dont know if its a tourist trap or not but i took a picture of a mirror they claimed to have seen visions of ghost and faces. i indeed caught a picture of a strange screeming face in a mirror. Her grave is located in the back of the house, its very small and petite. Cant believe a lady so small had that much power. in the end she got what she deserved. Its a must see and also looks very beautiful at night when its lighted. Its worth the teip and money if your into spooky plantation.l

very exciting, little bit spooky, historic. very exciting to hear this interesting story of annie palmer. we stayed at the palmyra where her three husbands are buried. must see when you go to jamaica, i regret missing the night one ( i guess its just another reason to skip top the beautiful carribeean island in the cold winter time, hehehe) try the witch's brew in the dungeon. yumm

i was a great experience to see where the white witch use to live. before i went there i researched the history and it was just terrible what ANNIE did to her slaves, her 3 husband, and her housekeeper.i wish i could go back and take another look at the beautiful house

$20.00 (US) p/p and no refunds, even if they kick you off the tour because they can't remember they sold you a ticket. Money goes to a Mr. Rollins in Atlanta, not the Jamaicans. The people who say they liked it would have liked anything I suppose.

First let me say that the people there are so welcoming! Loved the tour guide we had at the Rose Hall Tour. Annie is still there without a doubt. Purchased the book while we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall a very good read. Don't miss the letters and photos on the wall at the end of the tour. Once you have your photos developed yours may be "showcased" for what you may find them to contain!! Snap away!!

I loved hearing about the history of Rose Hall. Its like the plantation has so many secrets and so much history that it has a life of its own. I felt it as soon as I stepped onto its grounds. Its mystery is alive and waiting to be exposed. It was the best part of my trip to Jamaica.

So one day me and my mom went to jamica. I was reading about the haunted house. I wanted to go so we went there the next day. When we walked inside i alerdy scared. But it was sooo much fun i loved it. I want everybody to go there before they die. But it was 20.00 per person. It was a good tour. But the bedroom was really SCARY!! Everybody will like it. I still have the chills. From it. It doesn't sound scary. But it is. I took a picture and there was a ghost or was there.......

I have not yet been to Rose Hall but I am staying in a Hotel down the road from there in November this year. I am looking forward to visiting the historic Hall. It sounds very interesting. Some of the family have been and they say it is a beautiful place. But i must admitt i am a little frightened !!
