Jamaica, No Problem
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/20/09
I've been to Jamaica seven times and I also make my way to Cosmos. I read those other reviews, and honestly do not agree. Jamaica does not have fast service. Jamaica is laid back; nothing is fast or rushed. The food is as fresh as the sea; I suggest the Conch chowder. The view is perfect. The staff is friendly. My dad has a story from when he went there 25 years ago. He and his buddies were the only ones there, and they ordered food and were waiting for like an hour and a half. A goat jumped up on the table an they were laughing and shoo-ing it away. The cook walked out of the kitchen, holding a big knife in his hand, and said "what's up, mon" and my dad pointed to the goat and laughed, and he said "damn goat" and walked back into the kitchen. This is the atmosphere of jamaica. The only things that are fast there are the cars and the language, and i wouldnt want it any other way. Nothing is better than a country, and a restaurant, that forces you to slow down. Jamaica, no problem, mon. Irie.
