Redbones Blues Cafe

Description

This secluded spot in the heart of New Kingston is a haven for Jamaicans and visitors who crave upscale ambiance, great food and excellent service in an enchanting garden setting. Customers have a choice between atmospheric indoor dining rooms, or outdoors on the terrace or courtyard in a picturesque garden. The Jamaican-contemporary menu offers a wide variety of international dishes with a local touch. A fully stocked bar adds to the offerings. As the name implies, jazz and blues is the music of choice. The cosmopolitan setting is complete with an on-going art exhibition, and gift shop.

An island in Jamaica
By Maider, 4/28/08
I lived in Kingston for a while and definetely the Red Bones was the place to pump energy after a tiring working week. I miss it. As much as the Blue Mountains and the yerk chicken. Yah man!

Good food in a nice setting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/6/07
I've eaten in half a dozen places around Kingston and this one far and away offers the best food and service. The setting is very pleasant in the evening.

Don't bother!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/07
Poor service, somewhat OK food, and extremely low quality musical performances. If you really want to go to Red Bones, try to go on a night when they don't have live music (i.e. most week nights). Best to go with a group of friends, so that the company will make up for the overall poor quality of the place.
