They didn't send the wine to me
I'm so surprised to see nothing but positive comments about this place! The TI recommended that we go here to purchase wine for shipment home to U.S., so we went there in good faith that they were on the "up and up." I ordered 6 bottles of wine. I was stunned when he added the outrageous shipping costs, but he quickly charged my AMEX account. I immediately told him I'd like to cancel the order - I just couldn't justify the shipping costs. He called over the english-speaking waitress who told me they did not know how to cancel my order. I went to the nearest pay phone and called AMEX to see if I could stop the charge from going through, but it was already there. So, I accepted the fact that I was going to have 6 bottles of very expensive, but delicious wine waiting for me when I got home. However, I DID NOT RECEIVE THE WINE! Almost $300 for 6 bottles, and they didn't ship it! Am I the first to experience this?
