Italian Connection, Kilkenny

Very tight for space, lighting very low, found tables to close so you had to talk low. realy enjoyed evening... felt staff wrer little under presure and may need more frount of house staff

Very over-rated restaurant: Good points - very well-priced lunch menu, good staff, some delicious dishes, good pizza and great atmosphere. Bad points: starters menu is awful and all the starters are far too big (the bruschetta and garlic bread are the size of large pizzas), in the evening the food is way, way over-priced, which is even more galling when you realise the exact same dishes at lunchtime are half the price. If you want a really good Italian in Kilkenny, go to Rinuccini. If you want a cheerful restaurant with a good atmosphere and a pixxa - or know the five or so good dishes to go for- then it's Italian Connection. Best tip is to go for the French restaurant across the road, Chez Pierre, which is regarded by locals as the best in the city.

this place was amazing ! the staff were so nice and the food was excellent! there is so much more but I would recomend it anyday

Food was exceptionally good, service was impeccable, overall a great dining experience. Definately recommended for anyone looking for the best place to eat in Kilkenny, or anyone who finds themselves hungry and the pubs are too full.
