Taman Safari Indonesia, Bogor

Sacramento Zoo in california was nothing...So don't ever think that everything in US always best before you see this Taman Safari Bogor in Indonesia. Excellent........2 thumbs up

OUR FIRST VIST TO INDONESIA AND TAMAN SAFARI 5*. THE TROUBLE TAKEN TO MAKE THE VISITOR AND ANIMALS ENJOY THE PARK IS EXCEPTIONAL,THE FACILITIES ARE CLEAN, THE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND ENJOY THEIR `WORK`. THE SAFETY ASPECT IS NOT FORGOTTEN WITH THE DISCRETE STAFF ENSURING THAT THEIR VISITORS ARE SAFE (BOTH HUMAN AND ANIMAL).THE SHOWS ARE BOTH ENTERTAINING AND EDUCATIONAL. IT IS WORTH STAYING IN ONE OF THE HOTELS AND TAKING YOUR TIME TO EXPLORE THE SAFARI PARK AS A ONE DAY VISIT WILL MEAN THAT YOU ARE MISSING SO MUCH. AS AN EXTRA BONUS THE STAFF UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. This is the best zoo in the world. You can have full interaction with all the animals. There just isn't enough time in the day to do everything at the zoo.

i was in TAMAN SAFARI last February 2004, that was my first time to visit the place and Indonesia as well... I really enjoyed my stay there, seen a lot of animals, friendly people, lots of rides to choose from in the recreation area.. Also the food served in the restaurant was delicious... If there will be a chance to go back in INDONESIA, i will visit again the TAMAN SAFARI... I just want to say that I hope the local government of BOGOR and the government of INDONESIA will continue to preserve the place and make it beautiful for better...

This place is one of the best zoos I have been to!!! It accully allows interaction between most animals and humans. Definatly a plus!! It provided a family atmospher and plenty to do. If you plan to visit a zoo while in Jakarta you should visit this one!

Taman Safari Indonesia is the first zoo in Indonesia that allows interacation between animals and the visitors... except at the tiger area of course. The animal collections are quite large. It has wild endangered species such as Javanese Rhinoceros, Sumatran Tigers, and various nearly-extinct birds from Borneo.

The park has a vast and beautiful camping ground, where you can relax while watching the stars at night.
